The big RPO’s really want the large Enterprise companies. SME’s are not so interesting to them but with the Project Based Resourcing Solution model, the client’s needs were met, Stewartson & Associates providing the in-house expertise but on a part time basis, with scope to flex up and down as the client’s demands waxed or waned.
The offering was to guarantee a certain number of hours, each week, of an experienced in-house recruitment expert, tap in to the purchasing power to buy the tools that were needed – LinkedIn Searches, Job Board adverting and Database Search capability, as well as the expertise to help the business create job descriptions, benchmark salaries, tap into the skills pools available, conduct competency based interviews, schedule and manage the interview process, providing coaching to the hiring managers and interviews to really hone their knowledge and experience.
The financial remuneration comprised of a monthly retainer for the first three months, a “kick off” fee for every newly approved role, to pay for the time to take a decent briefing, construct the finalised job description, commence the sourcing activity and move candidates swiftly through the interview, offer and starter process. A “success” fee once the individual commenced, with a bonus payment if sourced directly through the efforts of the consultants and Stewartson & Associates rather than the more expensive agency route.
